Dinner has been devoured, bellies are full and the Christmas specials are on the TV. The biggest part of Christmas 2016 is done and dusted, but now it’s time for one of my most favourite bits – the sales!
If you are a teen or young adult you may prefer to have smaller presents to open and then have money to spend in the sales, or just want to shop them anyway. I’ve done some research and picked out some of the best deals for this year.
New Look, Topshop and River Island have already made a start in the game by opening their sales Christmas Eve. Up to a whopping 70% off across all departments including Curves, Petitie, Tall, Maternity, Mens and much more.
ASOS and Missguided are both offering up to 50% off across their websites including clothing, accessories and footwear. One of the big brands people are excited for is Next, who are offering up to 50% across the entire store.
Very is another with up to half price across the entire site as well as fashion. Also in the sales, John Lewis are offering up to half price on womenswear as well as different departments having sales.
Debenhams are having an entire sale across all apartments, but most notably people are very excited for the beauty and fragrance sale, offering up to 50%. Joining in the half price sales are Superdrug, LUSH and Boots.
If you’re keen on high-end brands, you may be pleased to know that Illamasqua are offering up to 70% off on their online sale. Beauty Bay, Cult Beauty and Feelunique are also ripping off 50% of prices on their website.
Amazon is having a big sale this year, with £20 off the new Amazon Echo, 40% off pre-school toys and 50% off fashion brands. Argos are also taking part in a massive sale across all areas, but most notably the big price cuts in the tech department.
Currys PC World are another big one people are looking forward to, with half price sales tech and electricals.
Gamers may be glad to know that GAME also have a sale with various price cuts across the store.
If it’s holiday packages you’re looking for, there’s plenty to choose from. If you’re looking for a trip to Australia, Austravel are offering 30% off. There’s lots on offer with Hayes and Jarvis with different price cuts, including a 5-night trip to Toronto and Niagra Falls from £699pp. If it’s Italy you’re after, Citalia have a six day flash sale from 26th-31st December, offering the chance to save an extra £50 as well as 35% discounts.
Laterooms.com are having a last-minute Boxing Day sale with 20% off selected London hotels for stays between 27th -30th December 2016 as well as further savings from the 1st-7th January, including 25% off Hilton hotels on 2nd January, 25% off selected London hotels on 5th January and up to 40% off the biggest hotel brands on 8th January.
Most of these sales are on for the majority of January, so fear not if you were still in a sluggish mood on Boxing Day!
I hope you like my picks and manage to find them of great use. What deals do you know about that I may not have mentioned? Happy shopping!
