November Monthly Favourites

It’s that time again where I share with you the things I have loved throughout the month. It’s now December, which is shockingly worrying because this year has literally just vanished within a blink of an eye, so I’m going to share with you what I loved in October. Let’s rock’n’roll..

FOUR: The Ultimate Edition – One Direction

The Ultimate Edition FOUR

My favourite boyband released their fourth album this month, aptly named FOUR. I think this is my favourite album and not just because it’s new, but it’s full of 80’s vibes and is such a transformation from their first album, Up All Night. You can really see how the boys have grown as artists and how being given the opportunity to write their own songs has impacted their sound.

Christmas is rapidly approaching and I never know what’s the best thing to buy people. I hate giving boring gifts as it’s just so expected and forgotten shortly afterwards, so I love to give unusual and unique presents. I’ve been using Prezzybox a lot and it’s full of unusual yet quirky gifts which suits many personalities. If you’re stuck for people to buy for, I’d definitely recommend this website. Monthly Favourites- October

Well look at that. We’re in November. This year has gone way too fast for my liking. Like wasn’t it Christmas a week ago? Anyway, nothing we can do about that, so here’s what I enjoyed in October. I’ll warn you- it’s a lot more than usual.

Love, Rosie – as you know, beginning of last month I went to the world premiere of Love, Rosie. I also wrote a review of the film and I honestly cannot wait for it come out on DVD. It’s currently in cinemas so you should definitely try and see it- I want to go again but being a student limits my spending and after my recent holiday, I am in red alert.  But the film is basically the best rom com I have seen in so long and I loved everything about it.

Polagram- This is an app which you can turn your photos into Polaroids and other formats of photos and have them sent to your door. It’s reasonably cheap and when I saw everyone posting about it on Facebook, I was really interested and so I checked the app out and ordered 2 standard polaroids and I really liked the quality. You can also make phone cases, order a box set of polaroids or even get photobooks made. If you decide to try this app out, then use my code PGV0UT7H for your first 2 credits meaning you’ll get money off your purchase. You will also have your own personal code which if you share to people and they use it, you’ll get more credits. Using other peoples codes and getting them to use yours gives both you and them 2 credit for each code used, so get your friends and family on the app, too!

Monthly Favourites- September

It’s October! How quick was September? It literally felt like I blinked and it vanished! Crazy.

As promised, I’m posting my September favourites and earlier than I posted my October ones! I can keep promises, you know. Anyway, let’s get on with it, shall we?

Steal My Girl – One Direction

Yes, One Direction again. C’mon, I don’t have a go at you for what you like! Anyway, this is the lads’ new single and it’s been a little while since they released their last single, You & I, so as a fan, I was extremely excited about this. It’s rather Abba-meets-1D in my opinion and I bloody love it. Just irritates me that Simon Cowell and his record label think it’s okay to release the single everywhere except the UK first. Uh,  who was it again who sang ‘Don’t Forget Where You Belong’? *shakes head*

YouTube

Okay, I’ll be honest- I always love YouTube. It’s one of my favourite websites to log onto on a daily basis. But this year some of my my favourite YouTubers- Tanya Burr, Zoella, Pointlessblog and Jim Chapman- have all done daily vlogs throughout September and they’ve been really fun to watch. It’s been my alternative for The Big Bang Theory as now I’ve been watching vlogs every night instead. October, you better step your game up.
