If you haven’t guessed from my previous two posts (plus sized autumn fashion and a pumpkin pie recipe), I’m pretty hyped for autumn! I think autumn is the best time for makeup and maybe that’s just because I’m a bronze/neutrals kind of gal, so that’s when you’ll find the best kind of palettes if you’re really into that style of makeup. There’s so many amazing products out there for your autumn makeup looks – be it for everyday or special occasions – so I thought I’d share some of my autumn makeup must haves to inspire you for your next beauty haul.
Urban Decay’s Naked Heat Palette
I raved about this when I picked it up back in Los Angeles, but I’ve been trying not to use it too much so I could save it for Autumn to really create some seasonal looks. I think this is such a gorgeous palette with a nice mix of matte and shimmery looks and enough choice for natural or glammed up eye looks. This is definitely my favourite makeup palette and I know I’ll be very reliant on it for the next few months.

Tanya Burr Lipstick in Pink Cocoa
I love Tanya Burr Cosmetics. Tanya is one of my favourite YouTubers/bloggers and I think her makeup collection is amazing but so underrated! I love her lipsticks and Pink Cocoa is one of my favourites for this time of year, it’s a great neutral tone to give you a “your lips but better” look. I also think Big Kiss is great for a glam look and Bear Hug if you’re going for a more neutral look on your eyes but want a bit more colour on the lips.

e.l.f Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearls
This is such a beautiful highlighter. It’s a warm champagne colour and really well pigmented but there’s one trick I must point out; in order for you to reach that actual pigment and the true greatness of the product, you need to scrape the top layer off as that itself isn’t great. However, I think with that aside, this is such a beautiful product, well pigmented and easy to apply. If you want it to give that extra pop, I recommend applying it with a wet brush (setting spray will do fine) for a bit more of a dazzling glow (perfect for evening wear).

NYX Professional Makeup Matte Bronzer
If you’re looking to add a bit of colour to your face during the colder months, I recommend the NYX Matte Bronzer! You’re guaranteed to get that perfect honey glow whatever the weather maybe. There’s a gorgeous russet glow in all of the pigments, promising that those orange face days are long gone. There’s five shades which work across all skin tones so everyone can enjoy the product. Yay, inclusiveness!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
No matter what new foundation I try – be it a cult classic, high end or recommended by someone I love – I always come back to Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation! This medium-buildable coverage foundation is semi matte yet dewy in its finish and even out the skin tone and brighter complections all while providing a vitamin-rich fruit therapy formula, which also is apparent in the scent; that’s always a plus! This foundation is definitely going to give more life to your skin during the colder months where you may not be as naturally glowy.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
For fierce and full lashes, Too Faced’s Better Than Sex mascara is definitely my favourite. They’ve just relaunched a birthday edition in honour of Too Faced’s 20th! So if you’re really into sparkly packaging or the kind of person who loves collecting special edition products, then this one is definitely for you. The hourglass brush perfectly shapes even the hardest-to-reach lashes and the ink itself is very pigmented and non-drying. It’s very lightweight and lasts all day without ever a need for touch ups. Just one coat looks amazing but if you’re really going for a dramatic look, you can apply multiple and it won’t get clumpy!
Available from Debenhams for £19.00
Barry M Molten Metal Glitter Nail Polish
When it comes to nail polish, Barry M really sets the standard. I’ve been all heart eyes over their Molten Metal collection and there seems to be quite a few Autumnal colours in there such as Copper Mine, Antique Gold, and Gold Digger, but I’ve picked Bronze Bae because it really caught my eye and I think it’ll go with anything you wear. I love the fact these shades are chrome effect with a mirror-shine foil finish. It adds that little bit of glimmer and glam to your look and if you’re not keen on going dramatic on your face, you can showcase bold and beautiful nails to compensate.
