2016 saw a fair bit of venturing out for me with regards to products. I bought my first high end foundation, fell in love with various lipsticks and picked up a few eyeshadow palettes. In 2017, I want to venture out even further. They don’t necessarily need to be make up related, though there are a fair few I’d really like to try. I see so many bloggers and vloggers using some gorgeous products, some quite old since they first hit the shelves, but have never ended up in my possession.

Here are some products I’d love to try throughout 2017.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation SPF 10

I have heard endless praise from beauty babes everywhere about this foundation. While I find the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation lasts a long time, I’d love to be able to compare the two to see what the similarities and differences are.

Too Faced Melted Matte Liquefied Lipsticks

I’ve seen these in a lot of Instagram flat lay pictures and Oh My God, they look amazing. I’m really into matte lip products at the moment and would really love to try one of these. I haven’t set my heart on a particular shade, though I must admit, this one in Miso Pretty looks really cute.

GlitterEyes PressedGlitter Romance Trio

There has been a major hype of these on Facebook and after seeing some gorgeous swatches, I absolutely need them. I’m kind of sad I didn’t discover these in time for Christmas and New Year’s Eve, but I’d really like to try a glitter eye look a few times throughout 2017.

Sleek Highlighting Palette Cleopatra’s Kiss

Can we just take a second to admire how gorgeous these shades look? I recently saw that ‘Non-touring” is said to be a 2017 trend with even Kim K loving it, where you basically skip the contouring and just use highlighter. I think this would be a great product to experiment the new look with.

HP Sprocket Photo Printer

This is a small printer which is handbag friendly and easy to connect to your phone. If you take some great pics while out and about and want to keep them, this is perfect to print them out for sentimental value. You can even peel off the backs and they can be stickers as well as design little frame’s on the printer’s app. I’m currently working on a scrapbook I had on my birthday to capture my year at 21 and as much as I really love my Instax camera, I’d prefer to frame those or peg them on a wire rather than stick them in a book, unlike these ones.

Clinique Anti Blemish Sonic Brush

These seemed to be quite popular over the festive period for gifts and after seeing countless of reviews, I really think this would be a product I could benefit from this year. I can often get random spots for absolutely no reason at all that I’m aware of and it really gets on my nerves, so I think this little beauty can really be a great help for my skin.

PS Pro Oval Blending Brushes

One trend that took 2016 by a storm was oval brushes. I wasn’t ready to stray away from my beauty blender this year, but having seen the multiple articles in the media raving about them, I’d really like to give them a shot. Lots of bloggers have been swearing by the Primark PS Pro brand of these brushes and since they’re highly affordable, I think these would be best to start off with for testing the brushes without throwing away too much money should they not turn out to be what I’m looking for.

Victoria’s Secret Velvet Matte Cream Lip Stain

After receiving a gorgeous Victoria’s Secret mist gift set for Christmas, I’ve decided I’d love to go on a VS haul in the (fairly new) Cardiff store. Aside from picking up other scents which I tested in Superdrug, I’d love to try one of the Velvet Matte Cream Lip Stains. The shade ‘Adored’ is what’s catching my eye the most at the moment, so I’d love to pick one up.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

Another much raved about product I’ve seen is the eyeshadow primer potion from Urban Decay. My eyeshadow tends to fade after a few hours so any product to keep it long lasting is something I need to get my hands on.

Anti-Stress Cube

I have yet to find a stress toy I can’t break. Stress ball? Ripped to shreds. Twisty twizzlers? Snapped. This could possibly be the one fidget toy that may not break on me. Well, hopefully. When in anxious situations, my hands pull on things, rip things, squeeze… it’s like I get a lot of my frustration out with my hands. This is small, compact and perfect to put in my bag.
