It’s been so long since I’ve done a Disney Nerd post, but after roaming around the Disney Store in Cardiff and all the Christmas products out, I’ve decided to revive the series with a brand spanking new post to help you this festive season!

Christmas is rapidly approaching and while Disney is a fairly obvious choice for many young ones, it can also be great for gifts for older people, too. Because whether you agree or not, Disney is not just for kids! Walt himself even said it. So, if you have a Disnerd in your life, I have some perfect gift ideas for you and they’re all in this blog.

Mickey Mouse Icon Necklace – £39.00

Disney necklace

This beauty is from the ‘Arribas Jewelled Collection’ which features Swarovski crystals. It’s perfect for the typical Disney classic fan who loves a bit of jewellery in their life.

Available from the Disney Store

101 Dalmatians Glazed Mug – £6.99

101-dalmatians-mug

I love a good Disney mug and this one seems to be a decent size, especially for the price! 101 Dalmatians is also my favourite from Disney, so it’s no surprise that my friend bought this for me for my birthday!

Available from the Disney Store

Alice in Wonderland Book Print Cushion Cover – £12.95

alice-in-wonderland-cushion

This isn’t officially Disney, but perfect for those who are wandering in Wonderland. I think this is a beautiful cover which I’d have in my room – that is, if my mother doesn’t nick it for herself to put in the living room!

Available from Etsy

Disney Inspired Candle Holders – £5.99 each

These are so beautiful and I’d really love to collect all of them. There’s quite a few to choose from on the site and I really think it shows off your Disney side without it being too OTT.

Kinkade Disney Dreams Calendar 2017 – £9.99

I bought the 2016 version of this for my mother and she loved it so much that she plans to save some of her favourite images and frame them. The artwork is simply stunning and perfect to add into the home of any Disney lover.

Dumbo Vintage Disney Wash Bag – £7.99

Disney Don’t Be Grumpy Be Happy Wash Bag Set – £14.99

dont-be-grumpy-be-happy

Ideal for the Grumpy in your life! I’ve actually been eyeing this up for my stepdad because we always get him Grumpy stuff because he kind of looks like him and he also loves bath stuff. I thought I should point out there are a ton of more Disney gifts such as this and the Dumbo bag on Truffle Shuffle – it was difficult not putting every item in this guide!

 Available from Truffle Shuffle

Disney Princess A5 Diary 2017 – £8.99

disney-diary

Because there’s always someone who could pass for a Disney princess! Great for keeping your year in order and just adding a bit of Disney magic to your daily life.

Once Upon A Dream Novel – £7.99

Once Upon A Dream Novel

If you’ve got a bookworm in the family, this is perfect. I’ve seen a few in this series in various stores including Tesco and Waterstones. I have every intention of getting the entire collection once I track it down, but plan to start with this one as Sleeping Beauty is my favourite princess, besides Pocahontas.

Available from the Disney Store

POP! Disney Mickey Mouse – £9.71

Disney Mickey Mouse Funko Pop

Funko Pop figures have proven to be fairly popular, especially with Disnerds. These pop culture pieces are the perfect ornaments which aren’t too easy to break. They come in many characters but I absolutely adore this retro Mickey. Now I know these are available in many places, including some Disney Stores, but the only link I could find is on Amazon.

Available from Amazon

Disney Traditions Winnie the Pooh Figurine – £10.99

Winnie The Pooh Disney Traditions Figurine

The Disney Traditions figurines are a classic collection and have a lot to choose from, but I cannot get over the cuteness of this Pooh Bear figure – just look at him! My mother has a cupboard in our living room dedicated to Disneyana (the name for Disney memorabilia) and has many of these. I think she’s caught wind I’ve bought her one for Christmas, though!

Disney Bambi Primark Pyjamas

Primark are currently best known for their incredible Disney nightwear range and this gorgeous set is no exception. It’s boxed, which makes it the perfect present to wrap. And who doesn’t love Bambi?

    1. I’m honestly toying with the idea of spoiling my mother and getting her it as well as the Mickey one I’ve bought her! Pooh bear was a big part of the family growing up, so he’s a much loved character in this household (ironically, I’m wearing a fluffy hoodie with him on right now :P)

  3. Oh I love the necklace and PJ’s. Really shocked at how reasonable the prices are too! I think I’ll need to pop in, budge all the kids out the way and see what’s there for me hehe x
