March Favourites

Hello!

March is already over and yet again, I’m still pretty baffled to see the year go by so quickly. Like every month, I have some favourites that I want to share with you, so without further ado…

Make-Up Revolution Ultra Cream Contour Palette

I’m finally trying to take contouring seriously and bring it into my make up routine. I’m not the greatest, but I’m not a make up artist. I’ve been debating on whether or not to try a powder or cream contour kit and my friend highly recommended this palette to try. I’ve been using it all month and definitely think it works amazingly. It looks great and applies nicely onto my brushes feels good when applying to my face. It’s definitely great quality for its price and well worth giving a try.

Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Gel

brush cleansing gel

I’ve seen many people praising this cleansing gel for their make up brushes and so I decided to pick it up in one of my regular visits to Superdrug. It really works well on my brushes and gets them as clean as when I first purchased them. I feel like the gel helps maintain the softness of the bristles where some may or moult after a while of using them, plus the product smells nice, which is always a bonus.

Danielle Peazer’s Young and Gifted ‘Peace, Love and Happiness’ rollerball Eau De Parfum

I’ve been looking for a small handbag fragrance for a while and since dancer model/model/fellow blogger, Danielle Peazer, has just released her first collection I thought I would invest in her rollerball set. The three scents are amazing with Peace and Happiness being quite light and airy, suited for daytime wear and Love being a more deeper scent which is perfect for a night out. These are your handbag’s new best friends. I’m definitely going to be taking these to my concert weekends to top up and just pop in my handbag and they’re really ideal for travel.

‘Machines’ – Camryn

This is Camryn’s comeback single after spending a year in the studio working on a new sound as she matures from your girl next door teenager to a more young adult sound. I’ve personally known Camryn since she was 11 and I am beyond proud of her achievements, from opening for the likes of One Direction and Cody Simpson to building a strong fanbase. This song sounds like a real hit and I’m excited to see what 2016 brings for her.

‘No Broken Hearts’ – Bebe Rexha ft. Nicki Minaj

I’m not really the biggest fan of rap, but having listened to this after writing an article for Maximum POP! I definitely felt good vibes from the song and ended up playing it on repeat a few times. This song is about reveling in the moment and definitely is a song that I can see on my summer playlist.

  1. I’m so totally lost when it comes to contouring! I genuinely don’t know where to start. My make up routine (when I actually wear some) is: cream to powder on face, eye liner, mascara and lippy……that’s bad isn’t it! I think I shall be popping back, to seek advice lol x

    1. It’s not bad at all! Contouring isnt for everyone and I find it difficult! YouTube is the best teacher for make up. Everyone has different styles and techniques 🙂 xx
