november-monthly-favourites

Hard to believe this is my last monthly favourites of 2016! Next month, I’ll be doing the big annual favourites from the past 12 months. Anyway, let’s get on with it, shall we?

24 Hrs (Deluxe Edition) – Olly Murs

olly-murs-24-hrs

Back with album number five, Olly Murs brings a whole set of songs and this time he’s getting personal, with tales to tell of his recent relationship coming to an end. The album sees Murs at his most vulnerable, really putting his feelings out on the line in the form of art. It’s no ‘Dance With Me Tonight’ and definitely no ‘Troublemaker’, but Olly never likes to make two songs sound too similar. My favourite tracks are definitely ‘Flaws’, ‘You Don’t Know Love’, ‘Years and Years’ and ‘Private’, though I do adore every track. I applaud him for being so open without stabbing a knife in the back or heart of his ex.

Glory Days (Deluxe Edition) – Little Mix

little-mix

After their lead single from album four, Shout Out To My Ex, took the world by a storm, is it any surprise that Little Mix’s latest release could be considered a work of art? Little Mix change their sound with every album – no two sound the same. Jesy, Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade have evolved yet again and love is very much the theme of this record. Heartbreak, romance and a sprinkle of sassy attitude, the girls have grown up and so has their music. It’s a big leap from ‘DNA’ and a whole new era from ‘Get Weird’, not to mention a different sound from ‘Salute’ – I think a lot of people would take a strong liking to this new record. My favourite songs include ‘Power’, ‘Beep Beep’, ‘Down & Dirty’ and of course ‘Shoutout To My Ex’. If you’re looking for fun, a good time and relatable lyrics, then this is the album for you.

Bosch Tassimo Vivy Coffee Machine, TAS1252GB

Tassimo

My parents decided to purchase a Tassimo machine and it has certainly been a novelty in this household for the month. You could almost say it’s a bit like a Starbucks in here. It’s super easy to use, with a one touch button for it to work. We have the Costa coffee and Cadbury hot chocolate pods that we use the most and it’s just quick and convenient.

Available from Tesco for £33.24

Costa Lindt Hot Chocolate

Costa Lindt Hot Chocolate

When I saw this advertised on the Costa Facebook page, I had to try one. So when I was in Cardiff, I had a cup and though it’s slightly pricey, it was so delicious. I love Lindt chocolate and usually have it around Christmas time for a special occasion. There are some other great choices for festive/limited edition drinks at Costa but I’m finding it hard to stray away from this because I love it so much. It’s such a velvety chocolate taste which I’m in love with.

Available at Costa for £2.95

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

Collection Lasting Perfection

I have heard so much about this concealer for the longest time and my friend finally convinced me to pick one up on a recent mini haul. I can definitely see the hype of it. The formula is a of a soft and creamy consistency, making it easily blendable. I had the shade number 1 and it’s so lovely for highlighting under the eyes. It’s a fab product for the price.

Available from Superdrug for £4.19

Finding Dory

finding-dory

I finally had the chance to see ‘Finding Dory’, which along with many my age, have been waiting 13 years for a sequel of ‘Finding Nemo’. The film stars Ellen Degeneres’ character ‘Dory’ and is such a funny, heartwarming and wonderful family film to watch, bringing back familiar faces as well as new characters as we learn more about the much loved character who we fell in love with in the original film who reminds us to “Just Keep Swimming”…

Available from HMV for £9.99
