I’m gonna let you into a secret – I wrote this blog post earlier in the year when I felt a bit festive. I’m not going to say when because I’m not here to be judged! But I’ve decided to do a little bit of a festive post now that Halloween is over to get into the mood of the season that’s oh so close to us around the corner and maybe inspire you as well.

I’ve constructed a bucket list of things I want to do this Christmas season – some things will probably start the end of November because that’s just how things roll. Here’s what I want to get up to this holiday season.

Go to Bath Christmas Market

This is number one on my list after seeing an advert back in the Summer for a trip and managed to convince family and friends to make an event of it and go on a girlie trip together! It worked and we will indeed be going to Bath in December, which is going to make a fantastic blog post and vlog (so get excited!) I love the idea of Christmas markets. I originally wanted to go to Germany but Lily and I have decided to do that next year, which will be lots of fun. Bath is absolutely beautiful and this is definitely the next best thing.

Go to a pantomime

I haven’t been to a panto in years and it saddens me because it used to be a tradition when I was a kid! I plan to go to one with my gran because we both love them and I feel like they really put you in a festive mood. Our local theatre is a five minute walk from my house, so there’s no excuse really!

Participate in 25 days of Blogmas

Last year was my first ever blogmas which was SO fun, but I only did twelve days as I decided to get involved very last minute and there was some real stress in getting some posts ready. This year I’ve planned in advance and some posts I’ll be prepping this month so I’m not rushing as I really want to take my time and pride myself in making great Christmas content for my readers. I think it’s going to be so much fun and I’ve got so many ideas I cannot wait to work on.

Go for a Christmas Meal with friends

I have friends who I really need to catch up with and I think it would be so fun to go out for a meal together to catch up during the festive season. It’d also make for a good review, too!

Go to Cardiff Winter Wonderland

Another one I’d love to do with friends as it’s just a lot of fun. It’s not as magnificent as London, but it’s local and I just really enjoy going. I want to go on the big wheel and the penguin bumper cars, which are always great fun. I think it’s a really nice day out.

Have a Christmas LUSH haul

Let’s not kid ourselves, LUSH have some amazing Christmas products! I may go in November as the collection will be out this month and I want to have time to review them for a potential blog post, because who doesn’t love reading about LUSH products? I’m so excited to try some of the products and I hope I also get some for Christmas, too.

Have a Christmas movie marathon

To be honest, my mother has one daily the moment that the Christmas movie channels are back. But I’d like to have one with a friend with the films that I actually like and not the tacky American ones where their flights are cancelled because of the snow, they fall in love with someone and a Christmas miracle happens. Uch, no thanks. I love to watch Elf, The Muppets Christmas Carol, Home Alone and a bunch of others, which all really get me in the mood.

Make cards with my gran

My gran is like the Queen of crafts. She has so much stuff and I love to make Christmas cards with her. I’d love to put some Christmas music on and make some with her this year along with my cousin, who is also very creative.

I’m so excited for the Christmas season and really hope I get to complete this bucket list! What are you looking forward to this time of year?
