Sometimes when I’m not feeling the best, I like to read through quotes to give me motivation or just to inspire me. I thought I’d try and inspire you with my favourite quotes which you can also print out and keep to look at whenever you need a pick-me-up. So here are eight of my favourite inspirational quotes.
1.
This was Louis of One Direction’s Twitter bio for so many years and fans found it highly inspirational. I feel like this is a great reminder to live more for the now because you never really do know how long you have in this life. Losing people close to me is something that brought this quote to life for me.
2.
Joan Jett is amazing. She has a lot of feminist quotes and morals she sticks by. For me, this quote reminds me to take control and do what I think is best for myself. I have the right to make my own mistakes and find success myself.
3.
I have endless amount of respect and support for Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson. Watching her deal with the public calling her fat on The X Factor and go through an emotional journey where she gained confidence really inspired me as I’ve dealt with different issues with my self esteem. This quote is so beautiful and true.
4.
My favourite YouTuber is Tanya Burr and she is someone who I can watch or listen to when I need a pick me up. When I feel down, this quote reminds me to make the most of life and to try and be more positive.
5.
This always reminds me of my love of music and how it’s played such a big part in my life. I supported 5 Seconds of Summer before they were a big signed band and I feel like one of the fans who helped them get to where they are today. This quote by guitarist Michael Clifford reminds me of that and also the times when I’ve been in dark places and relied on music to shine a light to guide me through tough times.
6.
This classic Disney quote by Fairy Godmother in Cinderella reminds me that things take time and I should remember not to expect things to happen in an instant. It’s also a reminder that I need to work hard to get what I want out of life.
7.
This is probably my most favourite quote of all time. My dream is to be a full time pop culture journalist and I’ve come so far already, this quote reminds me to stay true to what I want to do and feel such passion about. This quote keeps my on track to never lose sight of my dreams.
8.
Beyoncé is a massive icon, in particular to me. Though she’s a massive star, she works hard and is always on the grind to get where she is and earn her place. To have someone like her, who is considered to be such a huge name, reminding all women, all people, to listen to ourselves rather than others and it’s up to us to love ourselves for who we are rather than people decide what makes us deemable for love.
I hope you find these quotes as inspiring as I do. What quotes motivate you?
Jazz is a Disney, tea and pop culture enthusiast with a passion for blogging. Also a proud introvert.
I like these all but I personally like the one from Tanya Burr the most. Nothing beats having a good laugh 🙂
My favourite would have to be ‘Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times’ J.K. Rowling/ Albus Dumbledore
I certainly can relate to the Jesy quote. I currently use ‘believe and you can achieve’ as I’m trying to work on my fitness x
Totally agree that every miracle takes time and although we as humans are sometimes really impatient, but waiting for something to happen at its right time is very important.
My favourite quote is “Collect Moments, Not Things” and is a motto we live by
Great quotes. Some of them are quite deep and meaningful. I hate the ones (not suggested on this post) that are trying to be motivating about pushing harder or not giving up because sometimes it’s okay to give yourself a break and trust that everything will work out.
These are all fantastic quotes, I have the phrase ‘Never give up on your dreams’ tattooed on my arm and it’s a reminder that dreams are worth pursing x
I love all of these quotes. This post was such a lovely read.

Wow! Joan Jett? Someone put Joan Jett on their list? That’s so awesome! So few people I know even recognise the name!
I think one of my favourites is “creativity is intelligence having fun” from Albert Einstein.
Joan Jett is an idol of mine! I found her when I was trying to be an edgy teen lol and here we are 8 years later!
