Here we go again – a new year, a new round of monthly favourites! This is the first January in years where I haven’t been ill. And it’s actually been more productive than usual, too! Here are my January Monthly Favourites.
Sigma Beauty Warm Neutrals Vol 2
I had this palette from my cousin for Christmas and I am in LOVE. It’s so well pigmented with a great formula. It applies like a dream and the fact it’s such a compact palette, it’s perfect for travel. I took it when we went to Little Haven for a few nights and I’ll be taking it to LA with me!
Available from Beauty Bay for £30.00
Tanya Burr Selfie Story Flick Eyeliner
I had all of the Selfie Story collection from Tanya Burr Cosmetics for Christmas but as much as I love it all, the eyeliner really stands out for me. It’s really easy to apply and the staying power is amazing. I can apply it in the morning and by evening it’s still looking freshly applied! I even had a nap and woke up with it still in tact. I always say Tanya Burr Cosmetics is underrated – this eyeliner needs to be in everyone’s makeup bags!
Available from Superdrug for £4.99
Babe Power Eau De Parfum by Missguided
I found this in Superdrug and was intrigued by the fact it was a can. To my delight, it smelt amazing and so my mother and I bought it along with a travel one and another in the sales! My mother only ever wears Chanel No.5 but she loved this so I guess that tells you the quality of it. It’s full of gorgeous fruity notes including sour cherry, pink pepper, grapefruit zest, pineapple and rhubarb with undernotes of orange blossom, jasmine, candyfloss and sensual musk. Absolutely gorgeous!
Available from Missguided for £28.00
Honest – Mali-Koa
I’ve been supportive of Mali-Koa Hood for a few years and now she’s finally released her debut single. The Australian singer-songwriter has been working on music for some time and posting popular cover videos on YouTube in between. Honest is a minimalistic acoustic ballad with poetic lyrics that speak to your soul. I love how there’s not much of a backstory to the song, so you can apply it to your own personal story and still speaks a thousand words. I love to listen to this to relax to when reading or having trouble getting to sleep. I truly hope 2018 is the year of Mali and her music career really kicking off.

GHD Platinum Pink Blush Stylers
I’ve already reviewed these but I just had to include them in my monthly favourites. They are such a delight to use and so convenient. They’re lightweight and sleek which makes them easy to travel with, take seconds to heat up and are safety ones which switch off on their own if not used for 30 minutes. Whether you’re a gal on the go or a busy mother, these are such amazing stylers, I’m truly obsessed! These are a limited edition pair, so you need to be quick if you want the pink pair! But I believe that other colours will work just as good, if that’s something you’re not bothered about. Also, £10 from each sale of the ghd platinum pink blush styler will be donated to support breast cancer research.
Available from GHD for £165.00
