It’s October! How quick was September? It literally felt like I blinked and it vanished! Crazy.

As promised, I’m posting my September favourites and earlier than I posted my October ones! I can keep promises, you know. Anyway, let’s get on with it, shall we?

Steal My Girl – One Direction

Yes, One Direction again. C’mon, I don’t have a go at you for what you like! Anyway, this is the lads’ new single and it’s been a little while since they released their last single, You & I, so as a fan, I was extremely excited about this. It’s rather Abba-meets-1D in my opinion and I bloody love it. Just irritates me that Simon Cowell and his record label think it’s okay to release the single everywhere except the UK first. Uh,  who was it again who sang ‘Don’t Forget Where You Belong’? *shakes head*

YouTube

Okay, I’ll be honest- I always love YouTube. It’s one of my favourite websites to log onto on a daily basis. But this year some of my my favourite YouTubers- Tanya Burr, Zoella, Pointlessblog and Jim Chapman- have all done daily vlogs throughout September and they’ve been really fun to watch. It’s been my alternative for The Big Bang Theory as now I’ve been watching vlogs every night instead. October, you better step your game up.

Audible

This is an Amazon owned company where you can buy and download ebooks to listen to. So if you’re unable to read a book for whatever reason (busy, dyslexia, etc.) then this is the app for you! It’s free to download but it does costs to buy books. However, there’s lots of ways to get your first book free. For example, when watching Pointlessblog’s YouTube, he’s given his viewers the chance to have their first book free by visiting audible.com/pointlessblog. I’ve found this so useful for when I’ve not had time to read a book and I do get travel sick when I’m reading on a bus or in a car so this will be perfect for my trip to Paris at the end of the month as we travel by coach. I did use this a while ago and listened to The Fault in Our Stars by John Green as I wasn’t patient enough to wait for the book to be delivered, but I’ve rediscovered this app and really recommend it for book lovers!

Unidays

Calling all university students! This is the app for you. I’ve previously mentioned that I have an NUS Extra card (which I also recommend, by the way, if you have the money for it) well this is like a free version, although they have nothing to do with each other. myunidays.com is free to sign up to and you can get lots of discounts. There’s a lot of high street brands on there as well as discounts for travel companies, WHSmith, etc. I managed to bag myself a free McFlurry the other day because of it, so it’s definitely worth signing up to and make sure you download the app and present it in store for lots of discounts!

That’s it for now. I’ve already found stuff I want to mention in October’s favourites, so I think I might have quite a few in the next monthly favourites!
