I’ve decided to start a new series called Tuesday Ten where I list ten different things for a new theme each week. I thought it would be a fun way to share things I love or recommendations I may have.
This week’s Tuesday Ten is all about makeup products I’ve fallen in love with. If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you’ll know that I’m quite a fan of makeup, so I thought I’d share ten products that I really love.
Bourjois Healthy Mix
I feel like this is my ideal drugstore foundation. It’s got a good medium coverage which is buildable and is very lightweight. It’ a little pricey for a drugstore brand, but I feel like it’s worth it.
Available from Boots for £10.99
Too Faced Better Than Sex Foundation
This is by far my favourite mascara. I had it for Christmas and I used it until it went dry months later. I feel like it really enhances my lashes in the best way possible. Is it actually better than sex? Well, I’ll let you be the judge of that. It’s a high end brand, so it’s not the cheapest, but I’ve definitely seen other mascaras costing a lot more.
Available from Boots for £19.00
Tanya Burr Martha Moo Matte Lip
I feel like this is such an underrated matte liquid lipstick. I’ve had a few that are pretty drying and stick into every print on your lip, but this sits so nicely and you can’t feel it. The pigment is also great and it’s a great shade, too – perfect for everyday wear. I can’t wait to pick up a new one.
Available from Superdrug for £5.99
Feeling Younger Skin Tint
An undiscovered gem for many would be this creamy highlighter from LUSH. I found it in the new LUSH Spa Cardiff store and it is amazing. When you first put it on it looks frightening because of how white it is, but once you blend it in, it’s pretty natural looking. It’s price is equivalent to the lower side of high end price tags but I feel like a little goes a long way and it’s lasted me quite a while – I’ve got at least half left and I bought it back in March.
Available from LUSH for £12.00
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
I loved the Beauty Blender when I first tried it, but I soon discovered the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge which I believe is just as good but a bit more robust in comparison to the Original Beauty Blender. It can take more use and seems to last longer, not to mention the shape means you can use it in different ways.
Available from Superdrug for £5.99
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
This is my all time favourite concealer. YouTube beauty gurus have raved about this and donned it better than high end brands – my friend reminded me about it on a Superdrug haul about a year or two ago and I’ve been obsessed ever since – it’s the only one I buy now. It does so well in hiding blemishes and imperfections and is just a great all round product.
Available from Boots for £3.99
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion (Original)
I’ve literally only just mentioned this in my July favourites but I am honestly obsessed with this. Eye makeup really wears off for me quite quickly but this has been the answer to all my problems. My makeup looks pretty damn good using this and last so much longer. It’s a little pricey for a primer but it’s really worth it. I have the travel size but it’s lasting pretty well considering the size.
Available from Urban Decay for £9.00
Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner
I love this eyeliner as you can create quite a thin line but also it’s great to build with if you’re going for a bolder look. I’ve been really into thin eyeliner or none at all lately, but I know that this can give me the opportunity to create different styles should I want to switch up my looks.
Available from Boots for £5.99
Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil Dark Brown
Only this year I’ve been into doing my eyebrows and this eyebrow pencil is like a dream. I have pretty full eyebrows anyway, but to draw them to look a bit more precise, this is like my best friend. I get a lot of compliments whenever I wear this so it ticks all the boxes for me!
Available from Superdrug for £2.99
Tanya Burr Birthday Suit Eyeshadow Palette
When it comes to eyeshadow, natural to bronze tones are my go to colour schemes. As a fan of Tanya Burr, I picked this up and it’s my perfect everyday eyewear palette. I love to create both natural and darker looks and it’s perfect for travelling!
Available from Superdrug for £6.00

I LOVE that Bourjois foundation too. Makes my skin look so healthy and glowy 🙂 I also use the Collection concealer religiously. If they ever discontinue that, I’ll be so sad!
Reading posts like these always makes me realise the effort majority of women put in for themselves.
I love your selection. My favourite from here is the Tanya Burr matte liquid lipstick. I love te colour and that you said it is well pigmented. It sounds like a good quality product.
Some of these are my favourites too! I love the collection concealer and the complexion sponge! xo
I know my wife is a huge fan of that mascara and I am sure I have seen that orange sponge as well!
I love lush and like to try new products each month. Will pop this on my list
I think the only one of these that I’ve tried is the RT sponge – they’re fab aren’t they! I love the shape of it, it’s great for pretty much everything 🙂
